We have decided to work on something fun together called Project 365. The idea of Project 365 is to take one "picture a day" for an entire year. We think this will be a great way for us to look back on a year of our life together. Another huge bonus to this project is that we will have no choice but to learn so much more about our great camera! We know this is a huge commitment and we will definitely need your support. We hope you will enjoy watching our world through our eyes!
Deciding when to start this project was a big decision. A lot of people start on January 1st and run through a calendar year. We did not want to wait 4 months! Some people start on a big birthday or with the birth of a child. Again, we have neither of those approaching in the immediate future. SO, in Tyler's brilliant wisdom, we have decided to start on 09/09/09.
In an effort to get used to carrying the cameras around with us EVERYWHERE and EVERYDAY, we have started taking pictures today, September 1st. We will start posting with negative numbers as a countdown to our "official" beginning. Be sure to check back often to stay up to date on our Project 365!
Tonight we had delicious hand-made burgers on the grill. And the perfect pairing for our dinner...? Two ice cold beers! Tyler was ready to drink his but I insisted on taking pictures while the sunlight was coming in through the kitchen window.

It is definitely going to be tough picking just one picture a day! This weekend Tyler brought me home beautiful Sunflowers :o) This next picture is one of my favorites that I have taken in a while.
