Soaking up the Sun

We spent this past weekend at the beach with Matt and Carrie White! They just moved to Greensboro from Sarasota, so it was a quick and easy trip for all of us. We got in on Friday night and Matt and Carrie had cooked dinner for us...what FABULOUS friends!

We headed to bed and prepared for a beautiful beach day on Saturday. We spent the day soaking up the sun - we played cornhole and bocci ball ALL DAY LONG! Matt and Tyler must really miss their nights of playing video games against eachother because their cornhole games were intense :) They kept a daily tally of wins and losses and even teamed up to play against some fellow ACC grads from N.C. State.

Carrie and I caught up and chatted on the beach. We enjoyed watching the boys and their competitive spirit.

Of course we had a quick beach photo shoot as well :)

We brought Tess out to play in the ocean for a little while and then headed in for dinner and drinks. We played Pictionary and the boys made an incredible comeback after Carrie and I had almost a half-board lead!! Tyler is officially a master of the All-Plays.

We woke up and got out to the beach on Sunday to spend one last day. We headed home around 4pm after a wonderful and relaxing weekend with great friends!
