All About Us!

We can't believe we're finalists in Orlando's search for Smile Ambassadors and when we first found out, we JUMPED FOR JOY!! We were selected from hundreds of applicants, from over 12 different countries, who all had to submit pictures, an essay and a video. Check out our application video below and enjoy learning a little about us starting now and going back until before we ever met.

Before we even knew about 67 Days of Smiles, we celebrated our 25th birthdays this year! My actual birthday was spent on vacation in St. Martin and for Tyler's we did a Murder Mystery Masquerade Party...what incredible celebrations!

We are both complete goofballs at heart and we enjoy making each other smile at any cost. We have even managed to raise a goofy dog!

We just finished celebrating our 1st Wedding Anniversary this past May...

...had a FABULOUS honeymoon last year...

...a BEAUTIFUL wedding right before that...

...and a WONDERFUL engagement to start it all off!

When we moved to Charlotte after college, we were sure to experience all that NC sports have to offer. We went to our first NASCAR race at Lowe's Motor Speedway...

...hung out with Stormy at a Carolina Hurricanes game...

...and cheered on our very own Carolina Panthers!

But before that move, we had our great college years to cheer on the Florida State Seminoles!

Even our dog Tess is a Nole :)

In the first year of our relationship, we spent an incredible weekend together in Orlando and enjoyed every smile we shared. There is something truly magical about that city!

Tyler and I graduated from FSU just a few months apart. While we met at the end of our time in school, we are so grateful we were able to share time as Seminoles.

We knew early on that we had something special because it seemed our favorite thing to do once we started dating was get dressed up in costumes. We would plan and plot as we cut up Twister boards and built a cardboard tank with a moving cannon.

Getting dressed up is still one of our favorite things to do, so we really loved getting patriotic for a July 4th wedding we went to recently.

We've celebrated Halloween as rockers and also as Jack and Jill.

And it's crazy to think that it all started with one poke! Tyler interviewed me for an honor and leadership society on campus and I thought he was cute. So, I poked him. And I have not heard the end of it since!! We went on a date a couple of weeks later and we have been together ever since :)

We are both INCREDIBLY lucky to be surrounded by such great families!

I grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina with my mom Ellen, my dad Marc and my sister Tracy. My parents still live there and my sister lives in Nashville, Tennessee.

Tyler grew up in St. Augustine, Florida with his mom Diane, his dad Skeeter and his sister Amy. His parents still live there and his sister lives in New York City.
