We have been wanting to add a deck to our back yard since we bought our house almost two years ago, and this summer we finally did it! Tyler is out of town on business this week but we were dying to eat on our deck so here is our first meal on our unfinished and unstained deck. It could not have been better!! We had great steaks with sweet potato fries and a FABULOUS bottle of wine as we sat outside with Tess and enjoyed our improved yard :)
Our swing didn't go up until the next day but we were thrilled to take a picture with the trellis where it will hang. We are already looking forward to beautiful fall evenings on the swing with wine glasses in hand.
The steps are now complete and the swing is hung. After the stain is on we will be sure to post more pictures so everyone can see the final product. We can't wait to enjoy the wonderful NC seasons :)
