Tyler was up early Saturday morning and on his way to Bristol for the race. Meanwhile, mom and I enjoyed a tasty breakfast at Tex and Shirley's and then headed home to finish getting the house and ourselves ready for the shower. The other hosts arrived around 1pm to bring the food and the finishing touches and then guests started arriving at 2pm. We drank pink champagne, chatted, played games and unwrapped gifts. The food was fabulous and the desserts were to die for. Not to mention we had beautiful spring weather which allowed everyone to pull sundresses and sandals out from the depths of the closet.
When it was time to take all of Maggie's goodies out to the car, I couldn't help but follow everyone out to grab a picture. You know it's a great afternoon when the heels come off. :)
